what is dry needling?

Dry needling is a tool to improve the patient’s outcome and involves placing a needle in to the muscle tissues “trigger points” that hold muscular tension.

It can provide a temporary or long-term relief for some muscular pain and stiffness. In addition, easing the trigger points may improve flexibility and increase range of motion. It is often used to treat sports injuries, muscles pain and fibromyalgia pain.
